A bakery in Seattle has closed due to the high crime rate in the area.

In an interview with The Seattle Times published Sunday, the owner of the bakery said that there was a recent crime at her store, including an individual being shot and wounded nearby and people abusing drugs at the front of her store.

According to the Times, she said she called the police about the incidents and they didn't respond.

When a man was shot to death around the block from the bakery on Sunday afternoon, she closed the store and told her employees that she would try to find other jobs for them in the city.

The store sells traditional Russian pastries.

How many shootings do we need to know that this is an active emergency in downtown Seattle?

She said that the streets of downtown have been abandoned by the government.

The Seattle Police Department was investigating the shooting death of a man who was found around the block from the store.

In a statement to The Hill, the office of the Seattle Mayor said that they are working with local authorities to find a solution to the problem.

The mayor continues to advocate for the hiring of additional police officers so that there are adequate staff resources to respond to public safety emergencies, bolster police presence in locations where crime is prevalent, and help reset the norms downtown. He is driving efforts to prevent gun violence, including through community-based programs, regional coordination, and other innovative solutions.

The man was declared dead at the scene after officers and medics tried to save him.

The newspaper noted that Ann Davidson, the newly elected City Attorney, was invited to her store by Sagan earlier this month, but she has lost hope that she will be able to prosecute misdemeanors more quickly.

It feels safer, but still, it is always drug use and people shouting at you.

This is too dangerous.
