Serena Williams has modeled for her own fashion line in the past. Monday was the first time he walked for a luxury brand during fashion month.

Williams paid tribute to Abloh on the first day of Paris Fashion Week.

Abloh died at the age of 41 after a private battle with a rare cancer, and his final contribution to the brand was presented by Off-White.

The star studded show was divided into two parts, with Serena wearing a portion of the ready-to-wear collection.

Williams expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to honor her friend on the social media platform.

The inspiration for Abloh's first Nike collection was served by Williams, who had been his muse for a long time. Abloh took on the classic tennis dress with asymmetrical color blocking, classic Off-White text and a tutu skirt in a collection called "Queen." The dress was worn by Williams at the U.S. Open.

She wore Abloh's neon yellow sneakers to the Met Gala. She wore an Abloh original to the French Open. The black-and-white striped two-piece set -- complete with a matching cape -- was adorned with the French words for "champion," "queen" and "goddess."

Williams was one of the celebrities who paid tribute to Abloh. My honor was to stand next to him. He lit up every room he entered. His family and friends should be reassured that his art has an impact on our culture. I will miss you.
