Ned Eisenberg, famous for his work on Law and Order: SVU and most recently, Easttown, has died after a battle with cancer. As Ned would say, he was attacked by two very rare assassins, cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma, and he died over the weekend. He fought the cancer in private and continued to work in show business to make sure his medical coverage paid for himself and his family. Ned is best known for playing a detective in the series "Mare of Easttown" with Kate Winslet. He was one of the series' most regular supporting characters because of his work as defense attorney Roger Kressler. Ned has a lot of TV credits to his name, but he has also acted in a lot of big movies. Ned was born and raised in New York City and began studying acting in high school before getting his first film credit in 1980. Ned is survived by his family. He was 65 years old. I am sad.
