There are three locations that the NFL is considering for the 2024 draft.

Green Bay Packers president Mark Murphy told reporters that the homes of the Packers, Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders are being considered to host the event in two years.

The team owners are expected to make a decision at a league meeting in late March.

Next year the draft will be held in Kansas City, while this year it will be in Las Vegas. New York City was the home of the NFL draft until 2015, when it was hosted by Chicago. The league brought the draft to many cities.

The draft was held for the first time in 2020 because of the COVID-19 epidemic. The league was able to return to normal last year when it was held in Cleveland. The talent at the quarterback position was noted in the draft. A signal-caller was selected with each of the top three picks, and five of them were taken in the first round.

Washington, D.C. is the only one of the three that has hosted the event in the past. The draft has never been held in Green Bay, but it has been held in Wisconsin. Milwaukee hosted it in 1940.

There is no consensus top prospect in the class, so this year's event in Las Vegas will be interesting. The Jacksonville Jaguars have the top pick and can choose between defensive end or offensive line.
