President Joe Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Rep. Adam Schiff are all part of the reason for the invasion of Ukraine, according to Sen. Ron Johnson.

Johnson said in a Fox News Sunday interview that he doesn't think Putin would have moved on Ukraine if it weren't for the weakness shown by the West.

There is a lot of blame to go around, but in terms of atrocities, that falls squarely on the shoulders of Vladimir Putin and his cronies.

Democrats didn't bring Ukraine into the trial of Donald Trump. They weren't the ones using the country as a political pawn.

In order to get the president of the country to dig up dirt on the Biden family, Trump held back almost $400 million in military aid. The money was approved by Congress to help fight Russian aggression. The money was released after pressure from both parties.

Zelenskyy desperately wanted a meeting with Trump as a show of force against Russia. He met President Joe Biden in the White House.

The prosecution in the Trump impeachment trial was led by the chair of the House Intelligence Committee. One of the few people to listen in on Trump's July call with Zelenskyy was Col. Alexander Vindman, who was a top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council. Vindman was a key witness in the impeachment of Trump.

I didn't think it was appropriate to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen, and I was worried about the implications for the U.S.

Alexander Vindman's wife, Rachel, defended her husband on Sunday, saying Johnson was the last person anyone would want in their foxhole.

Romney acknowledged what Trump did on CNN.

There are many people who would like to ignore that. He said that the American president was slow-walking the provision of those weapons.

Johnson's comments are in line with what many other Republicans are saying. They condemn what the Russian leader is doing, but also say that Biden and the Democrats are to blame for being so weak.

The invasion of Ukraine is happening because of Trump's lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. The door to Putin was opened by everything from Biden's energy policies to his withdrawal from Afghanistan.
