Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play in first NFL regular-season game in Germany

The first regular-season game to be held in Germany this year will be between the Packers and the Buccaneers.

The game will be played in Germany. The league was considering three German host cities.

The game will be held atDeutsche Bank Park. The league would return to Munich and Frankfurt in the next few years.

The first regular-season game in Germany will be part of the International Series.

There will be five regular-season games played internationally in 2022, with three in London, one in Mexico and one in Germany.

The first regular-season game outside the United States was hosted by the Arizona Cardinals in Mexico City in 2005.

The Green Bay Packers will play in London for the first time in their history. The New Orleans Saints have won in the U.K. on two previous occasions. Wembley Stadium will be the site of the Jacksonville Jaguars home game in 2022.

Peter O'Reilly, the NFL's executive vice president for club business and league events, said they are excited to be staging five games outside the United States in 2022, and thank the clubs for their continued commitment to growing the sport internationally.

The International Series will be the first time that the NFL will return to Germany since 1994 when it hosted five preseason games.

The country had host cities for teams in the World League of American Football, NFL Europe and NFL Europa from 1991 to 2007, but not Munich.

The 2020 series was canceled due to travel restrictions caused by coronaviruses, but the international series was resumed last season. The Atlanta Falcons defeated the New York Jets in London in October, while the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Miami Dolphins a week later. Since the series began in 2007, the NFL has held 30 games in London.

The United Kingdom, Mexico, and Germany will get four international games per season starting in 2022. The resolution stated that each team would have to play overseas at least once every eight years.
