A spokeswoman for Roman Abramovich said that the Russian billionaire accepted a Ukrainian request to help negotiate an end to the war.

The Jewish News said that the Ukrainians had reached out to Jewish contacts to seek his help in talks.

A spokeswoman said that Roman Abramovich was contacted by the Ukrainian side for support in achieving a peaceful resolution and that he has been trying to help ever since.

Considering what is at stake, we would like to know why we have not commented on the situation or his involvement.
