Some new technology will be shown off at the Mobile World Congress. The next generation of earbuds and high-end phones are likely to come with these new capabilities and the chips that make them possible.

The X70 5G modem-RF system tries to improve your phone's 5G connection with the help of an artificial intelligence processor. This helps maximize 5G signal for better coverage, especially for short-range signals, which are important for the coverage of low and mid-band frequencies. This improvement is limited to situations like stadiums and city blocks, and it doesn't address the signal's ability to travel from outdoors to indoors. The new artificial intelligence processor should boost coverage and speeds where there is no millimeter wave signal.

The new audio features include a feature that was teased last year: wireless earbud support for 16-bit audio. The gaming mode is 25 percent lower than the current technology. The ability to record in stereo through a pair of earbuds has been added. The latest adaptive active noise cancellation technology is included.
