The kid protagonists of Digimon Adventure's 2020 reboot.

Kids in the 90s had a lot of cartoons to watch, usually from the likes of Toonami or Kids WB. This weekend saw two more announcements that are sure to please old school fans of Manga andAnime, and the last few months have had a lot of nostalgia hit for them.

The news that the 2020 remake of Toei'sDigimon Adventure would receive an English subtitle broke during the late night of the convention. The reception was mixed when it first came out, with the reboot taking some interesting swings at updating the original anime with modern technology and its own history in mind. Zeno Robinson and Ben Diskin are the only two cast members of the Digidestined that have been revealed so far. Robinson, who grew up with the original series, was excited for the role and promised to give his all to the role. There is a volume warning if you listen to the message.

On Saturday, it was revealed that Zatch Bell would be coming back in a new Manga. The series will debut in the pages of Shonen Jump in mid-March, according to series creator Makoto Raiku. The original 2001 Manga was about a student making friends with a mystical being called Zatch, and had an animated adaptation on Toonami.

The Zatch Bell animation was a part of Toei's three-season, two film run. There hasn't been an adaptation announced for the sequel series, but given the power of nostalgia, don't be surprised if that becomes reality in the near future.
