Mark Gurman, an Apple tracker, says in his Power On newsletter that Apple is working on a device with a 20-inch foldable display.

It’s not expected until 2026

According to Gurman, Apple is looking into the possibility of a folding device. Last week, Young brought attention to Apple's rumored plans to develop a device with a large, folding screen, and Gurman has added more depth to the rumor.

The device will feature a dual-screen display that does not have a physical keyboard or trackpad, according to Gurman. Gurman cites Young's prediction of a release date around the same time Apple is rumored to launch a car.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold has a 13-inch display that folds in the center to become a laptop. Monica Chin notes in our review that the technology hasn't been perfect yet. If the foldable device ever comes to fruition, Apple has quite a bit of time to get things right.
