The International Space Station could come crashing down onto Earth due to new US sanctions against Russia, according to the Russian space chief.
On Thursday, the leader of the agency, Rogozin, asked who would save the International Space Station from an "uncontrolled deorbit and fall into the United States or Europe" if cooperation was blocked.

Musk said that he would get involved if the space station fell out of the sky. A user asked if that was what the tech mogul really meant. Musk simply replied, "Yes."
NASA said in a statement to Euronews that it continues to work with other international partners to maintain safe and continuous operations at the International Space Station.
Shortly after he announced Saturday evening that the Starlink satellite internet was activated in Ukraine, Musk said that the internet was disrupted by the Russian invasion.
