The company has made some improvements to its top laptop series, but they haven't lost what we like about them. It is still slim, but it is still understated. We don't know if it will ever show up in the US.
The 12th-gen MateBooks would arrive later this year, and a bigger screen, as well as the 11th-gen Intel U series processors. The screen of the new device has been expanded to 14.2 inches and the body has been made even thinner. There is a HD micro camera above the 3,120 x 2,080 display.
The P3 color gamut is over 1 billion colors, and the laptop has a 90Hz refresh rate. There is 10-point multitouch compatibility for those into touch displays.
There are triple air intakes inside the new wedge design, up from a single intake last year. The device gets 60 percent more air through it. It might be used. The new MateBook X Pro has a new performance mode that can be accessed through a keyboard shortcut. The thermal design power is boosted to 30W for a performance boost.
The 90W SuperCharge function can give 3 hours of use on a 15-minute charge. This all comes from a small 180-gram phone accessory that looks like a phone accessory.
You can get up to 50 watt of charge by plugging a phone into one of the four ports. Six speakers surround the MateBook X Pro, an upgrade to the sound of the previous laptop. That is a lot. Audio recording and conference calls can be improved with four mics around the perimeter.
A lot of the changes are the same. There is still a large trackpad, a chiclet keyboard, and a Mobile App engine.
A new e-ink device and a new hybrid PC are being launched by the same company. The two keyboard options for the 2-in-1 MateBook E are likely to be sold separately or bundled with the PC.
The MateBook E is a slim 7.98mm thick and weighs just over 700 grams. It will run on 11th-gen Intel Core processors. The first time the second-generation stylus will work with the hybrid, it will support 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and 2ms responsiveness. A magnetic keyboard folio and a new Glide keyboard peripheral will allow you to adjust the view of the 2-in-1 while working, and will allow you to hold it in one hand. For spreadsheets on the go?
The company is holding onto other information, including the price, for its big reveal. We will update this story when it is streamed this weekend.
