Ukrainian small-business owners are facing financial ruin after being forced to flee their homes.

The CEO of a natural wine store told Insider that he was fleeing to the West of Ukraine after Russian troops entered the country.

Hundreds of Ukrainians have fled to other countries. People tried to flee the capital, causing traffic jams.

Putin has created false narratives to justify his actions. He announced in a broadcast speech that he wanted to demilitarize the neighboring country and free it from hostages.
