The billionaire said that he had activated his commercial internet network in Ukraine.
The company has thousands of Starlink satellites that allow it to beam broadband services around Earth without the need for fiber-optic cables. If the internet infrastructure of Ukraine is damaged by Russia, the satellites could keep it online.
The move by Musk came in response to a plea by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, who called for help on Saturday.

In response, Musk said that Starlink service is active in Ukraine. There are more terminals en route.
