Retailers in Texas and Utah have been asked to remove Russian products from their shelves.

US President Joe Biden announced sanctions against Russia on Friday, as well as the EU and the UK.

The Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control was ordered to remove all Russian-produced and Russian- branded products from its shelves.

Cox said that Russia's attack on a nation is an egregious violation of human rights.

Cox said that Utah stands united with the people of Ukraine and condemns the continued Russian attack.

He promised that the state would support the people of Ukraine.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott asked restaurants, bars, and retailers to remove Russian products from their shelves.

Abbott asked the members of the Texas Restaurant Association, Texas Package Stores Association and all Texas retailers to remove all Russian products from their shelves.

Texas stands with Ukraine.

Insider made a request for comment outside of normal working hours, but neither the offices nor the Texas Restaurant and Texas Package Stores Association responded.
