The Stadium Series victory over the Nashville Predators was influenced by the large number of fans in the crowd at Nissan Stadium.

The NHL said that the game was a sellout. The majority of the crowd was made up of Lightning fans who were eager to watch their team in the first outdoor game in franchise history. They cheered in the stands and chanted in the stadium concourse after goals by Point, Stamkos and Kucherov.
