Thousands of people protested in various cities across England on Saturday, including in front of the Russian Embassy in London. Protesters shouted "Russia stop the war" and "Putin stop the war" The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said in a statement that they stood with the President and all of the people of Ukraine. In the three days since Russia invaded Ukraine over 3000 Russians have been arrested at protests, according to OVD-Info, a Russian protest monitoring organization. More than 500 people were arrested on Saturday for supporting Ukraine. The first day of protests in Russia resulted in the arrest of at least 1,967 people.
