Fans storm the court as Saint Mary's stuns Gonzaga (0:25)

Saint Mary's joined in on the college basketball chaos with a huge 67-57 win over No. 1 Gonzaga. It was 1:45.

For the first time in college basketball history, seven top 10 teams lost on the same day.

The previous record of six top 10 teams lost on Saturday. The top six teams in the poll all lost on the same day for the first time.

The last time six top 10 teams fell in one day was in February of last year. Five times it had happened.

There are implications on Selection Sunday from Saturday's historic defeats.

Saint Mary's defeated rival Gonzaga 67-57. The worst loss by a No. 2 team in the AP poll was to Colorado. The opening round of the NCAA tournament has Virginia in it.

In a 67-62 loss at Tennessee, auburn finished 5-for-24 from the 3-point line. Tyson Walker hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds to play in Michigan State's win over Purdue, which ended the Spartans' six-game losing streak. The Jayhawks were defeated at 80 70 by the Bears. Arkansas defeated Kentucky in a 75- 73 win. Texas Tech was defeated 69-66 at TCU.

The Boilermakers will have to fight for a top-two seed if they lose to Michigan State in the Big Ten title game. After the loss to the Vols, they moved off the top-seed line and are now listed as the final No. 2 seed.

Despite their losses, Arizona, Arizona and Kansas kept their top seeds despite the fact that they moved up to the top line.

Drew Timme was 2-for-10 in the loss to Saint Mary's. Tommy Kuhse was one of four Saint Mary's players with double digits.
