Memphis All-Star put on quite a display for the Chicago crowd and might have gotten little extra lift seeing highlights of Michael Jordan on the video board.

Morant scored a franchise-record 46 points, datememe datememe datememe datememe was a datememe, and the Grizzles hung on to beat the Bulls 116-110 on Saturday night.

He said that he watched it and started scoring a lot. It probably played a part in it.

Mike Miller had a previous record of 45 points. He set the overall record for points in the playoffs when he scored 47 in a loss to Utah.

After losing two in a row, the Grizzlies let a 17-point lead shrink to one before squeezing it out. Chicago had a six-game winning streak.

Morant scored 20 in the third quarter and 16 in the first half. He made 15 of 28 shots, including three 3-pointers, and 13 of 15 at the foul line.

I have seen too many of them. Steven Adams said that it was boring and that Morant was an amazing player.

Even though the five-time All-Star scored 31 points and had 10 straight 30-point games, the Grizzlies frustrated him even though Adams added 12 points and a season-high 21 rebound.

Jordan did it in 10 straight from December 25, 1990 to January 14, 1991. But DeRozan was just 10 of 29 from the field, ending his NBA-record run of eight games of scoring at least 35 while shooting 50% or better, and was ejected in the closing seconds.

He did not have a great shooting night, and I thought he should have gone to the foul line early in the game. I haven't watched the film. I am watching the game on some downhill plays. Who knows what the game will be like for him if he gets four quick free throws or if some plays are called differently.

After missing the final three games of the season because of his left knee, LaVine scored 28 points in his second game back.

Morant went off in the third quarter as Memphis led by 17 He made 6 of 7 shots, including a 3, and a dunk at the end of the period.

It was a 16-point game early in the fourth when the Bulls went on a 14-0 run to take a commanding lead.

Coby White hit a 3 with about 2:30 left to cut it to 106-105. Morant then hit two free throws.

The lead was increased to 112-107 when Desmond Bane hit a 3. The Bulls made a foul shot and missed jumpers before LaVine hit two free throws to make it a one-point game.

Tyus Jones hit a pair for Memphis to make it a three-point game. The Bulls decided to attack the rim instead of trying a 3 with a timeout in their pocket. But DeRozan missed in the lane, argued a no-call and picked up his second technical after getting one earlier in the game, earning an ejection.

Morant made the technical free throw and two more foul shots after he was called for a foul on LaVine.
