Donald Trump treated an exclusive list of guests to a feast of Diet Coke and fast food at the conservative conference in Florida.
The Saturday evening meal was a part of a meet and greet event held during the Conservative Political Action Conference.
The theme of the conference was "Awake Not Woke".
Insider obtained a video that shows Donald Trump at a McDonald's in a dimly lit room with different types of hamburgers. They were also offered Diet Coke, a beverage Trump would demand with the push of a button when he was working in the Oval Office.
College athletes were among the large groups of guests that Trump served fast food to.
The former president hosted a private event for 250 guests. A source in the room who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed to Insider that MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell was among the guests.
The CPAC is being held at the Rosen Shingle Creek resort, where Trump is set to deliver a speech on Saturday night. The guests who were overwhelmingly pro-Trump and wearing MAGA outfits told Insider that they hoped Trump would address Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
CPAC's annual conference tends to include Who's Who in Republican politics. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Rep. Matt Gaetz, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke at the event.
