Marvel's Ironheart Adds Lyric Ross to Its Disney+ Cast

The cast of Ironheart is getting bigger: This Is Us cast favorite Lyric Ross has signed on for the series. It is believed she will be playing the best friend of Riri Williams, who is also known as Ironheart, played by Judas and the Black Messiah.

She admitted that she didn't have words at the time, and posted a picture of the announcement and a quote from the Hollywood Reporter.

WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Hawkeye are just a few of the characters that have been added to the Disney+ line-up. The Disney+ line-up will include Ironheart, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Secret Invasion, and Agatha: House of Harkness. Riri Williams is a genius inventor who creates an advanced suit of armor for Tony Stark, following in the footsteps of Iron-Man. It has not been revealed if she will be playing Natalie, an interpretation of Natalie, or another character altogether.

Ironheart also stars Anthony Ramos of In the Heights and Hamilton fame, with Chinaka Hodge attached as the head writer for the series. We will bring you more on the series when we learn it.
