A video shared on social media shows a Ukrainian senior scolds Russian soldiers for laying siege to a city in southeast Ukraine.

The man in the video is reprimanded by two Russian soldiers in the southeastern Zaporizhzhya region.

In the video, the man can be heard saying in Russian, "What the fuck are you doing here?"

He says that you have your country. We have it. Don't you have problems in your own country to solve?

The footage was posted on Telegram and appears to have originated on TikTok. An army vehicle in the video is painted with the ZZI emblem, which can be seen on other Russian military vehicles involved in the invasion of Ukraine.

A tank and other armored vehicles can be seen further up the street.

Russia claims to have captured Melitopol. The defense ministry said that the troops were welcomed into the city with no resistance.

The UK disagrees. The British armed forces minister said on Saturday that Russian troops have been held up by Ukrainian resistance.

The Russian assaults were met with resistance in the Ukrainian capital.

There were heavy battles in the Vasylkiv district of Kyiv. Russian troops attacked an army base on a main street, but a Ukrainian army unit repelled the assault.
