Kyiv mayor says civilians who remain on streets after new curfew 'will be considered as members of the enemy's sabotage'

The curfew in the city will be in effect from Saturday to the next day.

He said that the curfew would continue until the morning of Monday, February 28.

He said in a message to Ukrainian citizens that all civilians on the street during the curfew will be considered members of the enemy.

He asked that they treat the situation with understanding and not go outside.

On Saturday morning local time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the nation had survived the night.

Zelensky said that the destruction by missiles and artillery of residential buildings was the ultimate argument for the world to be by our side in stopping the invasion.

According to The Guardian, he said that government forces were still in control of the city.
