According to The Guardian, footage from inside of Russia appears to show a rocket being deployed towards the Ukrainian border.

The video shows a heavy flamethrower, which can shoot thermobaric rockets, mounted on a T-72 tank.

The footage was captured south of Belgorod, which is 45 miles away from Kharkiv.

The Guardian said that the TOS-1 was used in Chechnya and the Syrian civil war.

It can launch two types of weapons. The latter, also called vacuum or thermobaric rockets, work by using oxygen from the surrounding air to create a high-temperature explosion.

The weapons system is very effective against entrenched personnel. According to Military-Today.com, the TOS-1A is used to clear out buildings.

Conventional explosives are less destructive.

According to i News, thermobaric weapons can kill people.

Western officials were concerned that Putin might use thermobaric bombs to seize control of Ukraine.

One Western official said that they would be indiscriminate in the use of violence if they didn't meet the timescales and objectives.
