The Las Vegas Summer League will be held in July of 2022. The summer competition gives rookies, G League players and others the chance to prove to teams they can compete at the next level.

Each team plays five games in the Las Vegas Summer League. The two teams with the best records play in the Championship Game.
If two teams are tied, a head-to-head match-up can be included in the Championship Game seeding. If more than two teams are tied, either the point differential or a coin flip determines who plays.
The Boston Celtics were defeated by the Sacramento Kings in the Las Vegas Summer League. Alex Antetokounmpo, Louis King, and others were on the roster of Sacramento.
The Boston roster included Carsen Edwards, Romeo Langford, Payton Pritchard, and Yam Madar.
While the NBA draft has yet to take place, players like Jabari Smith, Chet Holmgren, Paolo Banchero, Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren will likely be selected and will compete in Summer League action.
