Belarus

Alexander Lukashenko said the country would use nuclear weapons as conflict with Russia grew, according to Agence France-Presse.

Lukashenko said last week that they would deploy nuclear weapons, but also super-nuclear and up-and-coming ones, to protect their territory.

The two nations conducted military exercises across the countries in recent weeks, and CNN reported that Russian troops entered Ukraine from the Belarus border early Thursday morning.

The countries that are allies of Russia have remained quiet in the wake of the attack.

During his visit to Moscow, the president did not comment on the conflict.

The conflict and Moscow's recognition of Luhansk were not discussed by officials in the country.
