McVay and Donald ready to 'run it back' (0:33)

Sean McVay and Aaron Donald get the crowd excited as they announce that they are ready to run it again next season. (0:33)

The coach of the Los Angeles Rams, Sean McVay, told Adam Schefter on Friday that he is not interested in pursuing any television opportunities and that he is committed to helping the Rams defend their Super Bowl title.

According to the New York Post, McVay was set to meet with Amazon next week, with the company possibly willing to offer as much as five years and $100 million. Amazon will stream Thursday Night Football on Prime Video.

In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, the 36-year-old McVay spoke candidly about eventually attaining a healthier work-life balance, telling reporters that he was so invested in this thing that he didn't want to stop. What do you want to be able to do? I want to be able to have a family and I want to spend time with them.

He sparked further speculation about his coaching future a day after the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in Super Bowl LVI, responding to a question about returning in 2022.

Two days after the Super Bowl parade, McVay started a chant of "Run it back!" and tried to convince Donald to stay.

McVay said that he is set to marry Veronika Khomyn this summer after their wedding was twice delayed because of the Pandemic.

In January, multiple league executives suggested to Jeremy Fowler that McVay could follow in the footsteps of Jon Gruden, who took a break from coaching to work as a TV analyst.
