Delta suspends its agreement with Russia's Aeroflot airlines

Delta does not fly through either country's airspace or near the borders, according to the spokesman.

Businesses are trying to place restrictions on Russian companies as a result of Russia's decision to invade.

The United Kingdom banned Aeroflot from flying within its airspace. Russia closed its airspace to U.K. airlines.

Russian airlines will not be allowed to operate over Poland's airspace from midnight Friday, according to the Polish Prime Minister.

The FAA told U.S. pilots and American air carriers that flights over western Russia were off-limits.

The FAA said that the shuttered flight zones apply to cargo operations.
