Burnley 1-0 Tottenham: 'If the problem is the coach I’m ready to go' - Antonio Conte

Despite questioning his future following the midweek defeat by the Clarets, Spurs manager Antonio Conte says he is committed to the club.

The loss on Wednesday was the fourth in five league games for Spurs and, after the game, Antonio Conte said he was ready to leave if the problem was the coach.

"I spoke to Daniel Levy, before our game at Leeds United on Saturday," said the coach, speaking before the game.

Our chairman knows that I am here to help the club.

I will do that until the end.

He shows me great consideration every day and I know that the consideration for me is very high.

Nuno Espirito Santo was replaced by Antonio Conte at Spurs.

His side beat Manchester City but lost to Burnley, leaving them eighth in the league and seven points from a top four place.

"For sure when I lose a game I am not the person to go and have a dinner," said Conte.

When I lose a game, I prefer to stay alone and live the defeat, because my mood is very bad.

I need one day to recover. This is me. It is me. I don't like to lose. Losing games is what I hate the most in life.

My mentality is to prepare myself, to prepare the players and to avoid this type of situation. Many coaches do not suffer.

I am not this person if you expect me to be happy or laugh at a press conference when I lose.

I apologize if I show my disappointment, but I think it would be better to keep this inside and not show my emotion.

It is difficult for me to lie or hide the truth because I am an honest person.
