Non-EU visitors to Italy no longer need to take pre-departure tests to be in the country.
The move is in line with the recommendation made by the EU.
Visitors from countries within the EU did not have to show proof of a negative test to enter.
If they show a negative Covid test result, unvaccinated arrivals can continue to visit. This can be a rapid test within 24 hours or a rapid test within 48 hours.
The same rules will be in effect for arrivals from all non- European countries.
One of the conditions of the green pass will be enough for entry into Italy.
The UK's Covid Pass will be accepted as proof of vaccination, and all over 18s still need to complete Italy's Passenger Locator Form.
Children under the age of six are exempt from testing and proof of vaccinations.
France, Austria, Spain and Greece have all given an expiriment date on the validity of vaccination certificates.
Tunisia has removed the requirement for children under the age of 18 to have a negative Covid test or vaccine certificate.
Visitors aged 18 and over can enter if they have a vaccine certification.
Passengers who are older than 18 years can either have a negative test taken within 48 hours or a negative test taken within 24 hours. Non-vaccinated adults will be isolated for five days.
Random testing at airports in Tunisia will continue for adults. If they test positive, they must self-isolated for seven days.
The form for the passenger locator in Tunisia has been removed.
