Christian Eriksen

After suffering a cardiac arrest while playing for the Danes at the Euro 2020 tournament, Christian Eriksen is set to make his debut for Brentford on Saturday.

Thomas Frank said that he will get on the pitch.

It will be amazing. It is a big day for all of us but especially Chris and his family.

Frank said it was a reminder for everyone involved to feel privileged for what they do and the moments they get.

After leaving Inter Milan by mutual consent, he signed a six-month deal with Brentford.

The player was unable to continue at the club due to the rules in Italy that would not allow him to play with a ICD.

The regulations of the premier league are different.

Over the past few weeks, he has been building up his fitness by taking part in two behind-closed-doors matches at the training ground.

Frank said it was remarkable the things he was doing in training, his experience on guiding players and telling them how to keep their cool in heated situations.

He is confident in what he can do as a footballer but he is very humble.

He is a normal guy that loves football.

The west London club are just four points above the drop zone after a run of six defeats in their last seven matches.
