According to police records, the school nurse who helped conduct the strip search of students at the high school contacted her supervisor the next day because she was concerned the searches were inappropriate.

According to Oconto County Sheriff's Office reports obtained by USA TODAY NETWORK, the nurse contacted her supervisor because she was concerned about searches she helped conduct the day before.

The administrators of the high school haven't responded yet.

Police reports show that the school nurse who was involved in strip-searching students at a high school didn't have any paperwork or guidance on how to do her job.

The name of the clinic and the supervisor were blacked out in the reports.

We are not done by a long shot.

The case not reopened in the school strip search was confirmed by the district.

According to police reports, the supervisor told the nurse that the searches were improper and that she shouldn't speak to anyone about them. The school nurse was told by the supervisor to contact the legal team of the clinic.

State statute says any official, employee or agent of a school district who conducts a strip search is guilty of a Class B misdemeanor.

According to police reports, the school nurse said she had not talked to anyone about what happened.

Several parents of students have hired a civil law attorney because the district never told them about the strip searches.

The nurse told investigators that after she started working at the school, she was asked if she would search the girls.

Students were called into the district office to be searched the next day. According to police reports, the nurse stood outside of a bathroom in the nurse's office as Casper searched the girls for e-liquid. The girls said the nurse stood by the door while they searched.

The Oconto County District Attorney decided not to charge administrators with a crime because no private parts were exposed.

Police reports show that one student said that she was made to remove her bra while she was searched.

The nurse made one girl pull her bra away. It was the nurse who told them to pull their bra up, but they couldn't remember which student it was.

The student told investigators that she was told to lift her bra and expose her breasts by Casper. The girl told investigators that she and her friends were made to do the same thing.

A statement released by Burke earlier this month said that the nurse and her supervisor searched six female students for e-liquid. The students were searched after being made undress.

The private parts of the students were not exposed to the nurse, so they did not fit the definition of strip searches.

The incident did not meet the legal definition of a strip search.

Burke said in an interview Monday that the charging decision was spot on because it didn't fit the statutory criteria of strip search. The law and common sense are not always compatible.

The principal of the high school started working for the district before the searches. According to police records, he started working at Nathan Hale High School in West Allis at the beginning of January.
