Christopher Scolese, Director of the NRO, said that Russia is committed to doing what they want to do in Ukraine.
Scolese said it was fair to assume that they could and would extend the conflict out of their control. According to the New York Times, Russian military forces invaded Ukraine early Thursday.

According to SpaceNews, Scolese noted that the nation already does gps jamming. He told operators of both satellites to be careful.
