The ex-Wigan Warriors andNewcastle Falcons dual-code international Va&aiga Tuigamala has died at the age of 52.

He won the 1997-98 Premiership title after playing for Wigan for a decade.

He won three league titles with Wigan.

He was one of the most exciting rugby players to play.

His presence on the rugby field was huge. He gave me the most precious thing that anyone could.

We spent hours on the field doing one-on-ones. It is a sad day for the club. Rest in peace, my friend.

Wigan will hold a minute's silence before their game against the Giants.

After playing union for New Zealand All Blacks, Tuigamala returned to the 15-a-side code and represented Samoa 23 times.
