Uefa will hold an emergency meeting on Friday to discuss moving the final of the European club competition to another city.
The EU Parliament wants Uefa to change the venue for the final, which will take place on May 28th.
The governing body of football is to meet on Thursday.
Russia and Poland will play in the World Cup play-offs next month.
If both Russia and Sweden win their semi-finals, they will play each other for a place at the World Cup finals.
The chairman of the Swedish Football Association said a match in Russia was almost unthinkable at the moment.
The Russian Grand Prix will take place in September, and Formula 1 is keeping an eye on it.
F1 said in a statement that it was closely watching the developments and at this time has no further comment.
