The Truth Social app was officially launched on February 21, but the vast majority of people are not able to use it. Users can reserve their usernames after they sign up for Truth Social with a name and email. They are put in a line and given a number.

It is unclear how those numbers are being given out. The number of places on the waitlist for the app and email was off by 80,000 places.
I signed up for the app about an hour after I got the pre-order notification. I was placed at 11,000. Truth Social pushed me back in line when I reopened the app.
Waitlist issues are not the only problems on the Truth Social app. Users who tried to sign up received an error message that prevented them from reserving a spot on the list.

According to reports from those who have received the error prompt, it appears that the message shows up when trying to use a certain email address. Some users have said that changing their email address to a Gmail address solved the issue.
There are also legal problems that Truth Social is dealing with.
The logo for Truth Social looked a lot like the logo for Trailar, a UK solar vehicle company.

Trailar tagged the Trump family in a sarcastic tweet about the similarity of the two logos. The company seems to have taken a more serious stance since the tweet. According to a statement from Trailar provided to The Daily Beast, the company is seeking legal advice to understand next steps and options to protect its brand.
