Finally.

The ability to have your PS5 screenshots and videos auto-uploaded to the PlayStation mobile app is now available to more countries. The feature was being tested in Canada and Japan.

The Americas will be the first to see the expanded roll out, according to Sony. Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, and the US are supported by Sony. The feature will come to more countries next month.

If the feature is enabled, media from your PS5 will be uploaded to the cloud so they appear on the app. You will need the latest version of the app on both phones. You can save captures to your phone, share them with your friends, or post them to social media from the app.

You can watch the video to see how it works.

The feature is live in the US for me. A few moments later, it popped up in the app, after I took a screenshot in the game. When it was briefly enabled for me in January, I can tell it works the same way now. It was a lot more difficult to take captures off your PS5 than it is now.

You don't need a subscription to use the feature, according to a Sony FAQ. Captures taken on your PS5 will be available on the app for 14 days. Video clips up to 1920x1080 will be uploaded.
