The movie, called 80 For Brady, is based on a true story and tells the tale of four best friends and New England patriots fans who go on a road trip to see Brady play in the Super Bowl.

Brady was deeply involved with the beginning of the project.

Brady was with the team until 2020 when he joined the Buccaneers. Brady said he wanted to focus his energy on other projects when he retired from the sport. The Falcons were leading the Pats by 25 points in the Super Bowl, but the Pats came back to win. In the fourth quarter, the Pats came back to win 34-28. Brady won't be his first turn at acting. He appeared as himself in Ted 2 in 2015, and has previously appeared on Entourage and in commercials.

The leading ladies of 80 For Brady are not new to each other. In 9 to 5, they starred alongside Dolly Parton, and since 2015, they have led the series Grace and Frankie. Fields was arrested at a climate change protest organized by Fonda. In the 1980s, she starred in a spinoff of 9 to 5 and appeared on Grace and Frankie.
