The audiobook excerpts from Run, Rose, Run, the novel co-authored by Dolly Parton and James Patterson, and an original soundtrack for the book from the country music star were featured in the first bookcast on Wednesday.
The first two episodes of the bookcast, which combines elements of Parton and Patterson's book with Parton's soundtrack, launched Wednesday.
The soundtrack for Run, Rose, Run will be released on March 4 and the book will be released on March 7.
Parton said in a statement that she could contribute best by sticking to her first love, music, and that she was grateful to have the opportunity to bring a new experience to the book.
All 12 episodes will be free.

Findaway, an audiobook distribution company, was acquired by the streaming giant last year.
The company wouldn't say how much the bookcast deal is worth.
There are plans for the service to move beyond music and into other areas.
