The popular connected fitness company is currently investigating an issue with their services, which is bad news if you were hoping to sneak in a ride.

On the status page of the company, it appears that users can't access any of the services. The company said this may affect users ability to access websites. The member profile/workout history page is the only part of the site that is down. DownDetector says that people began reporting Peloton issues at 10AM.

One of the pitfalls of connected fitness was highlighted by the outage. The expensive hardware you just bought isn't as useful without software and connections. Many of the users of the Peloton are using the option of Just Run or Just Ride. Barry McCarthy, the new CEO of Peloton, emphasized over the weekend that content and the on-screen experience are the company's bread and butter.

It will be back online eventually. In the meantime, you might have to just exercise.

We are currently investigating an issue with Peloton services. This may impact your ability to take classes or access pages on the web.

We apologize for any impact this may have on your workout and appreciate your patience. Please check https://t.co/Dxcht2tQB0 for updates.
