'Wendy Williams Show' is Ending, Sherri Shepherd Will Take Over

The Wendy Williams Show is no more.

Wendy is dealing with serious health issues. The TV executives that carry the show said that if Wendy's health didn't improve, they would make the change permanent.

This is a bitter-sweet moment for us and our partners at Fox. We all adore Wendy, who grew into a true icon during her 12 incredible seasons as the solo host of a live, daily talk show dishing on hot topics and interviewing celebrities.

She has appeared on The View, WendyDish Nation, and of course, The View.

On Monday night, we got her out in New York and she said she was still a temp.

Wendy was hoping to return as her temp replacement, but her health struggles have not gotten better.

The official launch of the show will be in September, but it is not certain if the name will change immediately.
