Coen spent the last two years of his career as the Rams assistant quarterbacks coach. He joined the staff at Kentucky, which finished the season ranked 18th.
Coen was a quarterback at the University of Massachusetts and spent most of his coaching career in the Northeast.
The Rams are expected to hire Coen.
