At least some users were unable to take live and on-demand fitness classes because of the major outage on Tuesday.
According to the services page on its website, there was an announcement at 11 a.m. The issue was being investigated.
It said that this may affect your ability to take classes or access pages on the web.
The shares fell 3% by late morning.
The cause of the outage wasn't immediately clear, though it impacted both Peloton's Bikes and its treadmill machines. On Tuesday morning, some users of Slack were unable to communicate.
The online services were down, and some members of the Peloton took to the social networking site to express their displeasure. Some people said they were about to work out when the app crashed, others were in the middle of it.
Barry McCarthy was the new CEO of Peloton. The founder and former CEO of Peloton is now the executive chairman of the company.
McCarthy was tasked with right-sizing costs and resetting the business after it experienced tremendous growth during the Covid pandemic.
The shares of Peloton have fallen over the past year.
