On Tuesday, the wide receiver said he would like to stay in Cleveland, but that he was confident he could still help another team win a championship.

He noted in the thread that he was injured in Week 2 of the season.

3/3 I have put the ball in CLE court by telling them I would like to stay but if not then I'm confident enough in myself to be a better healthy me this year and moving forward to helping do my part in winning a championship elsewhere.

He played in 12 games and finished the season with 52 catches. There were only two receiving touchdown for Landry.

Following the release of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in early November, the team's top receiver, LaRon Landry, did not do an interview with reporters for the rest of the season. They are close friends and played together at LSU.

He explained that he was focused on getting on the field as healthy as possible during the week and after games, and that was why he stayed silent.

There is no guaranteed money left on his deal.
