Matthew Summers, head of marketing at Trailer, told Insider on Tuesday that the company was considering legal action against Truth Social because of the similarity of the two logos.

We are seeking legal advice to understand next steps and options available to protect our brand, according to Summers.

Donald Jr., his daughter, and wife were among the members of the Trump family that Trailar sent out on Monday. In January 2021, Trump was permanently suspended from the social media site.

The company behind Truth Social, Trump Media and Technology Group did not respond when contacted outside of regular US working hours.

Trailar asked AldiUK not to have the number for his legal team on him.

Trailar referred to the German supermarket chain. Last year, the UK's Marks & Spencer was involved in a copyright battle with Germany's Aldi over apparent similarities between their two caterpillar cakes.

Marks and Spencer claimed that Colin the Caterpillar cake was copyrighted. The two companies reached a settlement.

After the January 6 storming of the US Capitol, Trump was kicked off of mainstream social media platforms. After he released a video in which he told rioters to go home, Trump's account was permanently suspended. You are very special and we love you.
