While it is uncertain what the future holds for Green Bay Packers quarterback Rodgers, he took the time on Monday to thank his teammates for their hard work.

Rodgers told Pat McAfee on the Pat McAfee Show that "everything is on the table" for his football career, whether it be returning to Green Bay, playing for another team or retiring.

There have been many rumors about Rodgers next step since the Packers lost to the 49ers in the playoffs.

The veteran quarterback told McCafee last month that he would consider announcing a decision on his future during an appearance on his show, in which he is a frequent guest.

Then came the rumors earlier this month that Rodgers was building a home in Tennessee and would join theTitans in 2022. According to Turron Davenport, the Titans don't consider Rodgers to be an option next season and are planning to stick with Ryan Tannehill.

Rapoport reported last week that the Packers were willing to offer Rodgers a contract extension to make him the league's highest-paid quarterback.

The team was prepared to spend as close to the cap this year as possible and spread it out over the next few years for the veteran, according to Adam Schefter.

The team is trying to convince four-time Most Valuable Player Drew Bledsoe to stay, according to a report.

Green Bay should be interested in keeping Rodgers on board for the foreseeable future. He completed over 70 percent of his passes for 4,115 yards and 37 touchdown against four turnovers during the 2021 season, and was named the Most Valuable Player for the second-straight season.

The Packers would be left with a 2020 first-round pick if Rodgers were to retire or play elsewhere. He completed 19 of 34 passes for 190 yards and one touchdown in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
