John Cena, in his Peacemaker outfit, puts his thumbs to his wars and wiggles his fingers at the camera.

Did the cast have fun making the show? Did they fail their lines? Did they do silly dances on camera? A member of the set crew had to come over and wipe away tears from John's face because he was laughing so much during the scene where Peacemaker was tied up. The answers are yes, yes, and most delightfully, yes, as this massive gag reel for the show reveals.

The director/writer/showrunner dropped a nine-minute video on the internet yesterday, following the show's first season finale last Thursday. It's a treat, given that it contains so much filthy improvised comedy by John Cena that his castmates constantly break out in laughter. Chris Smith's character reveals that his family's name was actually Asshat before it was changed at Ellis Island, as well as explaining his penchant for porn. You have been warned.

There are a few things that can be taken away from all the silliness, first and foremost being that unless Gunn is writing multiple versions of Peacemaker's dialogue, John Cena is a surprisingly talented improviser who can draw out gems like Chicago Breeze-eater. He can add to being good-looking, super-buff, having great comic timing, and playing a solid cover of Home Sweet Home. The next season of Peacemaker should come sooner than later.
