Curry set a record for the most three-pointers in an All-Star quarter with six, half and eight.

The previous All-Star game record was nine, set by Paul George.

Curry, who was two points short of the scoring record set by Anthony Davis in the All-Star Game, won the Kobe Bryant trophy as the most valuable player.

Bryant and his daughter were killed in a helicopter crash in 2020 and the All-Star Most Valuable Player Award was renamed in their honor.

The All-Star Game was the 18th for James, one short of the record held by Abdul-Jabbar.

The Los Angeles Lakers star made the game-winning shot on Sunday after his team had been set a target winning score of 163 in Cleveland.
