According to a criminal complaint and Pennsylvania police, a mother of four begged her passenger for her life before he shot and killed her.

Calvin Crew was arrested and charged with criminal homicide, robbery and tampering with evidence in the death of Christina Spicuzza, 38, who was reported missing by her family six days earlier after she did not return home.

Crew was a passenger in Spicuzza's car when he pulled a gun on her, according to a criminal complaint filed in Pittsburgh Municipal Court.

Spicuzza tells her attacker that she has a family. According to the complaint, I have four kids.

According to the complaint, Spicuzza's phone history showed that money transfer apps were accessed on her phone while she was driving.

Spicuzza was found on the side of the road by an Amazon driver. She died of a single gunshot wound to the head, according to Allegheny County police.

The killing left four children without a mother. Victor Joseph, an assistant police chief in Allegheny County, said at a news conference Friday that his heart breaks for Christina and her family.

Crew's girlfriend may face criminal charges for ordering the ride-sharing service on his behalf, as authorities tried to determine what had been stolen from Spicuzza.

The accounts for the person who ordered the trip and the suspect have been banned by the company.

No family should have to suffer such an unimaginable loss and our thoughts are with Christi's loved ones.

Police said there was no reason to believe Crew and Spicuzza knew each other.

In Alleghany County, it is rare, but there is a relationship between the actor and the victim. We don't know of any in this situation.

Police say the Pittsburgh driver begged for her life after she was killed.
