The FA is looking into an incident in which missiles were thrown from the crowd at Manchester United players.
United held off a spirited Leeds fightback as they secured a thrilling 4-2 away victory on Super Sunday.
The match was marred by unsavoury chants between both sets of supporters and a shower of missiles aimed at Manchester United players after captain Harry Maguire's 34th-minute opener.
After being struck on the head by an object, Elanga needed treatment and Fred appeared to have been hit by a missile.
Sky Sports News was told by the FA that it is aware of the matter and is looking into it. West Yorkshire Police were also contacted.
The managers condemned the incident after the game.
"As far as I know, there is some investigation going on from Leeds United."
I don't think anything happened in the end. Anthony Elanga was happy to have scored his goal.

I think it is important to try and cool things down.
